The Orange Park Acres Women's League (OPAWL) welcomes all women ages 18 and older who reside in Orange Park Acres or nearby communities.

What does my membership get me?

OPAWL is a diverse group of women brought together by their love of community and friendship.  Whether you enjoy a spirited game of pickleball, or are an avid or even new garden lover, OPAWL has event sections for you.  You can join the Home and Hostess section and attend chocolate decorating events or you may be thinking of opening a business, the Enterprise circle section is for you.  How about just getting out there and walking your dog with other women, the Dog Walkers section is awesome.  How about game nights?  Bunco is a very popular section that brings together ladies monthly to play 2 rounds of bunco and a quick game of Left-Right-Center.  We are also looking to add a Mahjong section to our league.  Whatever your interests, OPAWL is there for you.  

As a member, you will receive monthly newsletters informing you of upcoming events as well as highlights from past events.  You will be included in and receive a list of contact details for all current members.  

By joining OPAWL, you acknowledge that your name and likeness may appear in local publications or on websites. Rest assured, your personal information will never be sold or used for non-OPAWL-related communications.

Liability Waiver

In consideration of participating in any way in the Leagues’ activities (hereinafter called “The Activities”) I, for myself, and on behalf of my heirs, next of kin, representatives or assigns, do hereby release, waiver, discharge the Orange Park Acres Women’s League, its Directors, Officers, staff, representatives, affiliates, volunteers, and agents from liability from any and all claims including the negligence of the League, its Directors, Officers, staff, representatives, affiliates, volunteers, and agents, resulting in personal physical or psychological injury, incidents, illnesses, paralysis, death, and property loss arising from, but not limited to, participating in the League’s activities.

Assumption of Risk

Participating in the Activities carries with it certain inherent risks that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken to avoid injury. Specific risks vary from one activity to another and can range from minor injuries to major injuries to catastrophic injuries. I know, understand, and appreciate that these and other risks are inherent in the Activities. I hereby assert that my participation in any Activities is voluntary, and I knowingly assume, both known and unknown, all such risks.

Acknowledgement of Understanding

I have read this waiver of liability, assumption of risk and indemnity agreement, fully understand its terms, understand that I am giving up substantial rights, including my right to sue. With my submission of this form, I acknowledge and consent to the agreement freely and voluntarily and intend my submission to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the extent allowed by the law.
